SWISS KRONO joins the MMFA as an Ordinary Member

Brussels, 1 April 2021 - MMFA, the Multilayer Modular Flooring Association, welcomes SWISS KRONO from Switzerland as a new Ordinary Member.

Matthias Windmöller (Windmöller), president of the MMFA, is delighted about the newest addition to the association: “SWISS KRONO is a family company with fundamental expertise in the interiors, flooring and building materials sectors. With its open approach to innovation and its continuous ambitions in the field of sustainability, SWISS KRONO is a great addition to our membership base at MMFA.”

When it comes to innovation, we follow our principle of the ‘SWISS KRONO Way of Doing Things’. New solutions from national companies are being shared with the rest of the group and successful developments will be implemented across other markets. We are looking forward to a similarly open collaboration with MMFA member companies to exchange valuable experiences,” says Max von Tippelskirch, Chief Strategy and Communication Officer (CSCO) at SWISS KRONO.

SWISS KRONO Group is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of wood-based materials with its headquarters based in Lucerne, Switzerland. The company offers a wide product range of interiors, flooring and building materials. The group employs around 5,000 people at ten production sites worldwide. With this new addition, MMFA now counts 28 ordinary members (producers of MMF flooring or their European representations), 30 associate members (supplier companies) and three supporting members (scientific institutes).

About MMFA: The Multilayer Modular Flooring Association is an organisation representing the leading producers of flooring in Europe and their suppliers. The association was established in October 2012 in Munich, Germany, by seven European flooring producers. The management of MMFA has moved to Brussels since November 2019.
